Who we are

DSLiteX LLC is a small, senior-led AI and machine learning engineering firm based in Englewood, NJ. We specialize in translating AI research and tooling into systems that run reliably in business environments — serving operational workflows, not just demos.

The company was founded by Jay Kim, a Senior AI/ML Engineer with over 10 years of hands-on experience designing and deploying forecasting models, retrieval-augmented generation systems, agentic AI pipelines, and production ML infrastructure across utilities, healthcare, and e-commerce industries.

What we do differently

Most AI projects fail in the gap between experimentation and production. Models get built in notebooks but never deployed. Automations break under edge cases. Dashboards go stale because no one maintains the data pipeline. DSLiteX focuses on closing that gap — we build for what the system needs to do six months after launch, not just for a demo.

Our approach to every project includes:

• Clear architecture first: we define data flows, decision points, and failure modes before writing code.
• Measurable success criteria: automation is only valuable if you can quantify what changed.
• Handoff-ready systems: documentation, monitoring, and runbooks so the client's team can own the system after delivery.

Engineering background

The DSLiteX team has built production systems including:

• Machine learning pipelines for leak detection and field anomaly classification in utilities
• Forecasting dashboards combining statistical baselines with ML predictions for operational planning
• RAG-based chatbots over large internal document collections
• Agentic workflows using LangGraph with structured state, tool use, and human review checkpoints
• Affiliate and content automation pipelines combining LLM generation, review, scheduling, and analytics

Technology philosophy

We use the best tool for the job. Our core stack is Python-based with FastAPI, LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI, Claude, and Databricks for AI workloads. We deploy to AWS, Azure, GCP, Fly.io, and Docker/Kubernetes depending on the client's existing infrastructure. We do not require clients to move to a specific cloud or tool vendor — we work with what you have.

We are particularly experienced with MLflow for experiment tracking, React for data dashboards, and building reproducible ML pipelines that can be maintained by engineers who were not involved in the original build.

DSLiteX focuses on data-heavy industries where automation provides the most measurable leverage: utilities and energy, healthcare operations, e-commerce and affiliate systems, and small businesses that need the benefits of AI without the overhead of a large internal team.
